DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (-/-/-)

Our tour guide and car driver will greet and pick you up from the airport then transfer to the hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONGBAY (B/L/D)

08:00 AM: our tour guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for more than 3 hour drive (165km) to HalongCity. On the way, you will have chance to see the beautiful landscape of Red River Delta.

12:00 PM: Board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch and a welcome drink are served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. You will see Dog Rock and Incense Burner Rocks, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to SungSotCave (Cave of Surprises). And then spend an hour kayaking before a refreshing ocean swimming.

Dinner is served onboard and then you will have free time to listen to music, relax under the stars or join in Karaoke singing…Overnight on junk.

DAY 3: HALONGBAY – CAT BA (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we head for Cat Ba Island. From Gia Luan Dock, our bus transfers you to a quiet countryside setting boasting several large shrimp farming area. There, you board a small boat to explore the exotic mangrove tree canals before arriving at the untouched ThienLongCave for the special visit.

In the afternoon, our bus transfers you to a quiet, sheltered spot for lunch and time to relax or try your hands at fishing. Then the bus heads to Cat Ba town for check in at your hotel. You will have free time to discover Cat Ba or relax on the dreamy beaches. Overnight at your hotel in Cat Ba Island.

DAY 4: CAT BA – HALONGBAY – HANOI (B/L/-)

After breakfast, we take a local wooden boat back to the junk for our return to HalongCity. Enroute there will be time for swimming and “arm-chair” exploration of more beautiful limestone islands. Have your camera ready for some beautiful shots.

Lunch is served on junk with a variety of local food.

11:30 AM: Halong Phoenix Cruiser arrives at the dock then we will return to Hanoi. Trip ends around 04:00 PM at your hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 5: HANOI – PERFUME PAGODA (B/L/-)

AM: We will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi around 08:00 AM. After 2 hour drive, we arrive at Duc wharf where we get on a small boat for a one hour trip up Yen Vy stream to Perfume Pagoda.

Sit back and enjoy the attractive mountain views, and the mirror-images in the crystal-clear water enroute. After a further 1.5 hour trek up the mountain to Perfume Pagoda, we will then explore HuongTichCave, returning via Thien Tru Pagoda. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

PM: Return to the wharf by ferry and get in bus to come back Hanoi. The trip ends around 05:30 PM at your hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 6: HANOI DEPARTURE (B/L/D)

AM: We will pick you up at your hotel around 08:00 AM, then take you visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where Uncle Ho lived in and passed away between 1958 and 1969.
Then visiting Ho Chi Minh’s Museum where you can see what he had done for Vietnam and some other countries and learns all kinds of information about the President Ho Chi Minh.
The next place is One Pillar Pagoda which is a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built on a pillar in the middle of a square pond.
We will then leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature – the fist college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian.
PM: After having lunch at a local restaurant, we will drive you to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda which is on shore of the WestLake.
The last place of city tour is HoanKiemLake (RestoredSwordLake) with NgocSonTemple. Then you will have dinner in a local restaurant before going to the airport for the flight home.
