DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY (-/B/D)

08:00 AM: our tour guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for more than 3 hour drive (165km) to Halong City. On the way, you will have chance to see the beautiful landscape of Red River Delta.

12:00 PM: Board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch and a welcome drink are served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. You will see Dog Rock and Incense Burner Rocks, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprises). And then spend an hour kayaking before a refreshing ocean swimming.

Dinner is served onboard and then you will have free time to listen to music, relax under the stars or join in Karaoke singing…

DAY 2: HALONG BAY – CAT BA (B/L/D)

Option 1: Overnight on junk.

After breakfast, we head for Cat Ba Island. From Gia Luan Dock, our bus transfers you to a quiet countryside setting boasting several large shrimp farming area. There, you board a small boat to explore the exotic mangrove tree canals before arriving at the untouched Thien Long Cave for the special visit.

In the afternoon, our bus transfers you to a quiet, sheltered spot for lunch and time to relax or try your hands at fishing. Then the bus heads to Cat Ba town.

Our bus then picks you up for a transit boat to Ha Long Phoenix Cruiser for second night

Option 2: Overnight in the hotel

After breakfast, we head for Cat Ba Island. From Gia Luan Dock, our bus transfers you to a quiet countryside setting boasting several large shrimp farming area. There, you board a small boat to explore the exotic mangrove tree canals before arriving at the untouched Thien Long Cave for the special visit.

In the afternoon, our bus transfers you to a quiet, sheltered spot for lunch and time to relax or try your hands at fishing. Then the bus heads to Cat Ba town for check in at your hotel. You will have free time to discover Cat Ba or relax on the dreamy beaches. Overnight at your hotel in Cat Ba Island.

DAY 3: CAT BA – HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L/-)

After breakfast, we take a local wooden boat back to the junk for our return to Halong City. Enroute there will be time for swimming and “arm-chair” exploration of more beautiful limestone islands. Have your camera ready for some beautiful shots.

Lunch is served on junk with a variety of local food.

11:30 AM: Halong Phoenix Cruiser arrives at the dock then we will return to Hanoi. Trip ends around 04:00 PM at your hotel in Hanoi.

* Note:

Option 1:

- Children under 4 years old are free of charge, sharing room with parent.

- Children from 4 – 9 years old are charged 70% adult rate, sharing room with parent.

- Family rooms on junk for 3 passengers are upon requested.

Option 2:

- Single supplement on Junk: US$ 35/1night

- Single supplement in Princess Hotel: US$ 15/1night.

Essentials: Original passport with valid visa, Sun cream, sun glasses, shoes or sandals.

Included: Bus, junk, entrance fees, English speaking guide, Kayaking, meals as indicated in the itinerary, complimentary glass of wine, fresh fruits after kayaking, refresher towel.

Excluded: Insurance, tip, drinks and personal expenses.

Additional information

* The tour is operated daily but you need to book at least 48 hours in advance of your travel date.

* Prices are per person. Infant and child prices will be applied as stated above.

* The prices are for group tour. For private tour, please contact us for the quote. However, please note that you will still share the junk in Halong Bay with other travelers if you overnight on junk.

* Complimentary pick-up service available from your selected point of departure in Hanoi. Please advise pick-up location at time of booking and call upon arrival in Hanoi to re-confirm pick-up time.

* Guests are advised not to take along with big luggages for convenience.
